The families and friends of many residents are often moved to share their feelings about Silvercrest. We treasure these notes of encouragement, and always find in them renewed energy to pursue our mission.
Only One Serious Choice
When we realized that mom required skilled nursing care close to her home in Flushing, there was only one serious choice. Our family did not hesitate to select your facility and we were unbelievably happy with our decision. Thanks to your doctors, nurses, CNAs therapists, administrators, acupuncturists, social workers and housekeepers. Mom has made a full recovery and is back to the comfort of her own home.

Highlights Of The Day
It's almost a week since I left Silvercrest, and I am still thinking of the good care that I received. I especially want to thanks Barry Hinds from Physical Therapy. He helped me to walk again. And thanks to Veronica Jeffrey from Occupational Therapy. She had so much patience and gave me encouragement to take things slowly. The mornings at therapy were the highlights of my days.

Following the Footsteps
Your work is important and inspiring. I hope to follow suit as I navigate life. I know that my dad, Boon Kin Ng, would want to thank you if he could.

Excellent Staff All Around
I was admitted to 2North after knee surgery. During my stay I found all your staff to be excellent, from the social workers to the nursing and physical therapy staffs. They were all kind, patient helpful and understanding. As a former nurse, I know the need for a good staff.

A "Last Day" Letter
I write this letter on my last day of treatment before I go home. I would like to commend everyone at Silvercrest, especially those who work in Rehab and on 2 North. Everyone has done more than I could have asked. Thank you for your care and concern.

You made my mother light up!
Dear Dr. Fleming,
Thank you for having been my mother’s most caring, thoughtful and helpful doctor. The moment you walked into her room, her face would light up. She knew she was in good hands with you.
